COMPANY PROFILE

Tianjin Xinxing Veterinary Pharmaceutical Factory is in the south of Huozhuang Bridge, Yangbei Road, Beichen District, Tianjin, and was established in 1986 with total assets of RMB 120 million and 291 employees. Our factory is one of the large and medium-sized township enterprises identified by the Ministry of Agriculture and was certified to GMP in September 2004.

Our factory is the scientific achievement pilot base and teaching practice base of Tianjin University of Science and Technology and Nankai University and director of China Animal Health Products Association and China Feed Industry Association. In November 1999, our company obtained the rights of self-managed import and export, was certified to ISO9000 Quality Management System, and was the first company which acquired “Spark Program” Certificate and National New Product Certificate in the industry.

Our main products include zinc bacitracin premix and colistin sulfate premix (feed drug additive). Since the products were launched, the enterprise and products have won many honors and the popularity and reputation have been promoted constantly. More than 70% of our products are exported to more than 20 countries and regions such as Asia, Europe, America, Africa, Australia, etc. which account for one third in the international market. Our products have occupied a large market in the domestic provinces, cities and autonomous regions including Taiwan, which accounts for more than 45% in the domestic market. Currently, our factory annually produces more than 10,000 tons of bacitracin zinc premix, 4,000 tons of colistin sulfate premix, more than 1,000 tons of  premix, and more than 2,000 tons of other products, undertakes processing business and takes the lead in the industry.

In May 1992, “Mailong” zinc bacitracin won special gold prize in the national feed industry new technology and new products exhibition.
In 1992, our factory won gold prize for science and technology in the national “Seventh Five-year Plan” Spark Technology Exhibition.
In 1995, zinc bacitracin premix won national new product certificate.
In September 1996, “Mailong”  zinc bacitracin premix project was awarded “Excellent Project” in “the 10th anniversary of Spark Program” (‘Eighth Five-year Plan’ Agricultural Scientific and Technological Achievement Expo) held by State Scientific and Technological Commission.
In July 1997, “Mailong” bacitracin zinc premix was awarded “Tianjin Agricultural Famous Brand” by Tianjin People’s Government.
In December 1998, it was identified as “Customers’ Favorite Famous and High-quality Products” by the Ministry of Agriculture.
In January 1999, it won “China Spark Program Famous and High-quality Products Certificate” granted by Spark Program Office of State Scientific and Technological Commission.
In November 1999, our factory acquired the self-managed import and export rights.
In June 2000, our factory was certified to ISO9002 Quality Management System.
In November 2000, our factory was awarded an excellent group of China Feed Industry Association.
In December 2000, “high titer 15% bacitracin zinc premix” was listed as the National High-tech SMEs Technological Innovation Fund Project by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Finance.
In August 2001, bacitracin zinc premix was awarded “Tianjin Famous Brand Product” by Tianjin People’s Government.
In November 2002, our factory was awarded one of the domestic top 50 enterprises in the industry by China Animal Health Products Association.
In April 2003, our factory was certified to ISO9001 Quality Management System.
In August 2003, our factory was awarded High-tech Enterprise and High-tech Export Product by Tianjin Municipal Science & Technology Commission.
In December 2003, our technology center was approved as the municipal technology center by Tianjin Economic Commission, Science and Technology Commission, Finance Bureau and Local Tax Bureau.
In September 2004, our factory was certified to GMP.
In March 2006, “Mailong” trademark was awarded Tianjin Famous Trademark
In July 2007, Colistin Sulfate premix was identified as Tianjin High-tech Achievement Transformation Project, and was awarded a certificate.
In October 2007, our factory was awarded top 50 veterinary drug manufacturers in 2006 by China Animal Health Products Association.
In August 2009, our factory passed the reexamination of GMP of the Ministry of Agriculture.
In January 2012, the new powder/premix production line was certified to GMP.

Our factory has acquired countless honors. 

Over the years, our factory adopts high-tech methods, produces and develops many microbial fermentation products by using the advanced biological fermentation technology. Our products include zinc bacitracin premix, colistin sulfate premix,, bacillus coagulans TQ33, etc. The production and R&D have been carried out with the cooperation mode of independent intellectual property rights, and the integration of production, teaching and research and the technological level reaches the world’s advanced level. 

The cooperative unit of bacillus coagulans TQ33—Tianjin Institute of Light Industry (Tianjin University of Science and Technology) won national scientific and technological achievement certificate with the subject of bacillus coagulans in 1998. In 2003 bacillus coagulans TQ33 was reported to the Ministry of Agriculture for approval, acquired market access certificate and achieved the effective protection of new products and patent rights. The above products all acquired market access certificate.

In the past more than ten years, our factory undertook the national spark projects (alkali protease and bacitracin zinc) twice, the national high-tech SMEs technological innovation fund project (high titer 15% bacitracin zinc premix large scale production) once, the high-tech industrialization promotion project (bacitracin zinc) of the State Development Planning Commission once, Tianjin key scientific and technological project and industrialization project (the R&D and industrialization of Colistin Sulfate) once and Tianjin and national key high titer development project (TQ33 probiotics), etc. Currently, our factory develops towards a virtuous circle of production, reserve, manufacture and development. In the future, our factory will keep close cooperation with universities, colleges, and scientific research institutes. It is planned to achieve total assets of more than RMB 150 million, production value of RMB 280 million and profit and tax of over RMB 60 million by 2015. Meanwhile, our factory strives to create conditions in cooperation with Tianjin University of Science and Technology and Nankai University, and plans to establish the national enterprise technology development center in 2-3 years so as to provide the technical guarantee.
